Flexifoil power kites

Flexifoil was founded in 1972 and since then the world of power kiting has never been the same. They truly have changed the face of all levels of power kiting, from recreational flying right up to buggy racing and performance kiting. They have done a great deal to encourage as many people as possible to experience the sport and they really do live by their slogan: live to fly! Here is a summary of the Flexifoil Range and the different kites that they offer.

Beginner

Flexifoil have made a real effort to include everyone in the sport and cater for all levels of flying.

Flexifoil Buzz and Big Buzz Kites

The Flexifoil Buzz/ Big Buzz range are still arguably the leading kites in the beginner sector, they are super easy to set up and have very steady and predictable flying characteristics. They also come complete and ready to fly with lines and handles all wrapped up in a high quality draw string bag.

Flexifoil Sting

The Great thing about the flexifoil sting is that it can be classified in either the beginner range or the intermediate range, depending on which size you opt for. The sizes start at 1.2 meters. This size is designed to get you used to the feel of flying a quad line power kite. A quad line power kite has two extra lines which are used as brakes, these help to slow the kite down and make it more agile and responsive. However the sting does also come in three other sizes with the biggest being a 3.3m which is aimed more at being a step between entry level quad line kiting and the more top end equipment.

Flexifoil Rage

The Flexifoil rage is becoming more and more popular every day and with good reason, it’s quick agile and offers huge levels of pull even from the small sizes in the range. And as its made by Flexifoil the quality is second to none.

Flexifoil Blade

The Blade is Flexifoil’s top end kite for the masses, they do make more expensive, bigger and more advanced kites however these are aimed more at the highly experienced flyer. The flexifoil blade is a real monster and is aimed only at people who have flown other quad line power kites before. It’s smallest size is a 4.0m and it’s range topper is a huge 8.5 meter known as the VIP.
